Jannelle Mackoff joined the KazLaw team as an associate lawyer in 2017 after completing her articles with the firm. She is passionate about advocating for her clients and has represented clients in the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Jannelle obtained her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 2016 and was awarded the Arthur Close, QC Prize in Advanced Legal Research. During university, Jannelle was a member of the UBC varsity women’s rowing team. Jannelle had a successful rowing career and served as captain of the rowing team while attending law school.
Jannelle has completed the American Association for Justice’s Depositions Course and Ultimate Trial Advocacy Course, which is held at Harvard Law School.
Jannelle is a member of the Executive Board of the Vancouver Bar Association, a non-profit organization which supports lawyers practicing in the City of Vancouver and across British Columbia. As an executive member of the VBA, Jannelle is responsible for planning and execution of a variety of professional and social events for members of the Vancouver bar.
Outside of law, Jannelle enjoys beach volleyball, long distance running, and exploring BC’s hiking trials.
