Kristen Blake
Trial Lawyer
Kristen Blake joined Kazlaw in 2022 after having worked exclusively in plaintiff’s personal injury since being called to the bar in 2021 and obtaining her Master’s in law from the University of British Columbia in 2020. She has represented clients in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia and has assisted senior counsel on a number of complex personal injury cases including mass tort claims and class actions.
Raised in White Rock, B.C., Kristen holds a BA in Political Science and Anthropology from the University of Victoria and a law degree with honors from Queen Mary University of London.
Prior to pursuing her dream of becoming a lawyer, Kristen was a political staffer with the BC Public Service and an International Election Observer in Russia and Ukraine. Kristen is passionate about empowering people. She has worked on various girls’ education projects in Northern Ghana and has volunteered with pro-bono legal service centres to help low-income individuals navigate a variety of legal issues.
When not in the office, Kristen enjoys travelling, snowboarding, paddleboarding, attending spin classes and exploring new restaurants with friends and family.
