Rochelle Leung

Rochelle Leung joined KazLaw as a lawyer in January 2021. Rochelle articled at the firm under principal Marc Kazimirski and mentor Sandra Kovacs, with whom she obtained trial experience in motor vehicle, medical malpractice, and sexual assault claims.

Rochelle earned her law degree at Thompson Rivers University. During her time at law school, she gained a variety of legal experience working as a summer student in the areas of poverty, mental health, corporate and commercial transactions, and intellectual property law. Prior to law school, Rochelle earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of British Columbia where she also co-authored two publications in anesthesia and respirology.

Rochelle works closely with Sandra Kovacs and is passionate about advancing the law of sexual assault in Canada. Rochelle’s main areas of practice are sexual assault and medical malpractice claims.

Outside of law, Rochelle can usually be found at the baseball diamond, rock climbing, or fishing.
